Conditions of Donating
If you have enjoyed your time playing Shades of Truth and can donate to help keep the game free, please do so with the following conditions in mind:
- Donations are non-refundable.
- You are not buying anything specific with your donation. There are no upgrades, perks, extras, boosts, items, etc. from donating. The warm feeling you get from roleplaying or "chakking" someone in the face is all we can offer.
- You do not have rights to anything purchased with donations. Funds are used specifically for the support of Ixios Development and their many varied projects. We endeavor to be good stewards with all funds that are typically used to defray costs of bandwidth and hosting fees for dedicated servers, development hardware and software resources, and may buy lunch if there's anything left over!
- As a donator, you ARE entitled to a special forum tag on your primary account for each month you donate (currently a different colored shield each month) and a semi-monthly newsletter. We try to get the newsletter out monthly but it may linger to every couple months at times. It often has first looks at new features that have not been released to the public, insider information on development projects, and may include invites to special testing for new features.
