Getting Started

1. Sign up for a forum account. This will be the account that all of your characters will be associated with. It will also allow you to keep up on the latest news in the forums!
2. Using your forum account, create your character here. You are currently allowed to have up to four characters total. You may with to read the Guides before creating a character.
3. Download the Shades of Truth Launcher which will install your game client and update it automatically as needed.
4. While you are downloading the client, take the time to read the background story. If you used to play Underlight, you'll need to know that none of the old history exists.
5. Play the game by running the launcher and entering your forum account information. Select your character from the list and roleplay!
6. Shades of Truth is a player-run project that depends on word-of-mouth advertising and player donations to continue running. If you like the game, help us out! :)
